Danfoss AB-QM Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) equipped with an actuator is a control valve with full authority and an automatic balancing function/flow limitation. Typical applications are Temperature control with permanent automatic balancing on terminal units (chillers, air-handling units, fan coils, induction units, radiation panels and heat exchangers). There is a full range of Danfoss actuators available for the AB-QM PICV, suitable for every control strategy. Actuators are available for On/Off, 0-10 volt, 4-20 mA or floating point.

Manual Balancing Valves Flanged Type DN15 (1:2″) – DN400 (15″)

MSV-F2 valves are manual presetting valves. They are used for balancing the flow in heating and cooling installations. The valves have position indicator and stroke limiter as standard. The hood of a spindle is integrated with stroke limiter. The setting can be locked. Valve characteristics are set up in measuring device PFM 5001/PFM 100. Valves are free of asbestos. Shut-off function.

Manual Balancing Valves Threaded Type DN15-50

LENOTM MSV-BD is a range of manual valves for balancing flow in heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems.

Automatic Balancing Valves DN15 (1:2″) – DN100 (4″)

ASV balancing valves are used for dynamic hydronic balance in heating and cooling systems. Dynamic balancing means: permanent balancing from 0 to 100 % load by controlling the pressure in systems with variable flow. At partial loads, when the flow is decreased by the control valve, pressure limitation is still performed and consequently performing dynamic balancing. By using ASV you avoid using complex and time-consuming commissioning methods. Dynamic balancing of the system in all loads helps you to save energy and improves climate comfort and control.

Danfoss Actuator AME435

AME 435 actuator is used with two and three- way valves type VRB, VRG, VF and VL up to DN 80 diameter. The actuator automatically adapts its stroke to the valve end positions which reduces commissioning time (self-stroking). The advanced design incorporates load related ‘switch-o ’ to ensure that actuators and valves are not exposed to overload.

Danfoss Actuator AME85

AME 85QM actuator is used together with large pressure independent balancing and control valves type AB-QM DN 200 and DN 250.

Special features:
• Position indication
• Automatic adaptation of stroke to the valve’s end position to reduce commissioning time (self-stroking)
• The advanced design incorporates load related “switch off” to ensure that actuators and valves are not exposed to the overload
• Manual operation

Thermal Actuators On:Off

Danfoss thermal actuator TWA-Z is used with the automatic balancing and control valve from Danfoss, called AB-QM. The actuator can be controlled with an on/off controller or pulse width modulation (PWM). TWA-Z and AB-QM provide a cost effective solution for the control of hot and /or chilled water for heated or chilled ceilings, small reheaters and recoolers in temperature control systems.

Measuring Orifices

Danfoss flow measuring orifices are used to precisely determine the flow in water based heating, cooling or potable water systems. This determination is done by measuring the differential pressure across the fixed orifice, which has a well-known Kv value. Differential pressure is measured with PFM 5000 or other measuring devices that can convert differential pressure to flow.

Flow Indicator

The flow indicator is a new simple measuring device for measuring flow and pressure in heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems. The flow indicator consists of a differential pressure gauge and a slide ruler, which enables the pressure to be calculated into a flow. The slide ruler has been developed for Danfoss balancing valves. The slide rulers can also help determine the presetting of balancing valves.

PFM 100

The PFM100 is a measuring device that measures the differential pressure on both sides of a valve in hydronic systems. After typing in the Kv value into the device it will calculate the flow in a very accurate manner. The PFM100 consists of a measuring instrument, two hoses with couplings and two measuring needles with ball valves. This device can be used for different types of balancing valves of various brands.

PFM 5001

The PFM5000 is a measuring device that measures the differential pressure between both sides of a valve, and can also measure the temperature. Flow, pressure and temperature can be displayed in various units. This equipment is the ideal tool for professionals who need accurate measuring results and who need to make calculations on-site. The PFM5000 communicates with a smartphone via a dedicated Danfoss App (Android) and data can easily be transferred to a PC to prepare a thorough measuring report.

Thermostatic Balancing Valves

The MTCV is a lead-free multifunctional thermostatic balancing valve used in domestic hot water installations with circulation. The MTCV provides a thermal balance in hot water installations by keeping a constant temperature in the system, thus limiting the flow in the circulation pipes to the minimum required level.

GreenCon On:Off Thermostat

The GreenCon on/off room thermostats are used for room temperature control in fan coil units cooling and heating systems. By controlling room temperature in accordance with the temperature desired by user, GreenCon room thermostats provide high energy efficiency while upholding and ensure optimal thermal comfort in the room. The product controls the operating state of terminal system by means of a built-in temperature sensor that detects temperature changes in the room. GreenCon’s advanced programmable features allow maximum energy efficiency without comprising on interior comfort.
